About the project

Imóvel Gestor is an app for organizing property records, inspections and financial entries. It is available on Android and iOS and includes a companion web application.

Problem

Managing properties through paper contracts, messages and spreadsheets scatters information. Reviewing an inspection, finding financial records or checking outstanding items then requires consulting several sources.

Solution

The app brings property records, inspections and financial tracking into one place for day-to-day use on mobile, with complementary access through the web application.

My role

I designed and built the product end to end, including both the mobile and web applications. My work covered architecture, data modeling, access policies, the interface, subscription integration and app store releases.

Architecture and technical decisions

The app uses React Native, Expo and TypeScript, with a shared codebase for Android and iOS.

Supabase provides PostgreSQL, authentication and access control. Authorization rules are also enforced in the database through Row Level Security policies. This reduces reliance on interface checks and allows data access without maintaining an additional API solely to forward reads and writes.

RevenueCat manages subscriptions and access to paid features across both platforms.

Outcome

Published on Google Play and the App Store.
